How do I register to attend?
You have three options:
- Go to the Reservations page in the above menu to make your donation and register online.
- Email us at info@vitaefoundation.org and we will contact you to make your reservation.
- Call us at 1.800.393.5791 and ask for Rene Maxey.
What are the dates of the trip?
The dates for the trip are not set yet, but will be scheduled for the Fall of 2012. This is a great time of the year to visit New York City.
What is required to make reservations for Vitae’s Fall 2012 New York City Pilgrimage?
A gift of $12,000 per couple or $6,000 per individual is required to reserve your place as part of the first group ($9,000 per couple or $3,000 per individual is tax deductible).
What is the actual cost of the trip?
The estimated cost of the 2012 Vitae Foundation Pilgrimage to the Abortion Capital of America is approximately $3,000 but may change when it is finalized. This portion is not tax deductible. Vitae Foundation will send a tax statement showing the tax benefit of your gift, which is currently estimated at $9,000 per couple or $3,000 per individual. This portion will help Vitae fulfill its mission to make abortion unthinkable.
The cost includes:
- Roundtrip airfare from St. Louis or other airport
- Hotel for 3 nights
- Lunch on select days (See Sample Itinerary)
- Transportation to all Vitae activities including to and from the New York airport
- A special farewell dinner the last evening in New York
- Tickets to the 9-11 Memorial
- Subway fares
The cost does not include:
- Breakfast for the duration of the trip
- Lunch on the fourth day
- Activities including dinner on your own after 3 pm for evenings 1 & 2
- Souvenirs
- Transportation to and from St. Louis Lambert or other departure airport
Is the number of travelers limited?
Vitae wants to keep the group small to increase the quality of the experience for everyone.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes, all travelers must be 18 years or older.
Will there be more information sent and by what means?
Updates will be posted at the website www.vitaefoundation.org/nyc. We encourage everyone to check back frequently as all updates will be posted there first. Vitae will also send email updates about once per month. As we get closer to the trip, details and itinerary will be sent with more specific information and flight schedules. Vitae will mail the informational updates if an email is unavailable.

The Fall season offers great weather for visiting New York City -- it's warm enough to spend a lot of time walking around, but cool enough to remain comfortable.
What should I plan to pack or wear?
- An umbrella
- Evenings can be cool, so pack a jacket or sweater
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Dress casually and for comfort.
- The last night we will get together for a special dinner that will be business casual dress.
